Refund Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

The short version: if Cue Pro isn’t working out for you, request a refund through Lemon Squeezy within 14 days of purchase and you’ll get your money back in full. No hoops, no hard feelings.

14-day money-back guarantee

Cue Pro is a one-time purchase, and we want you to be confident in it. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date — no questions asked.

We also encourage you to try the free plan first: the selection toolbar and on-device meeting translation work without paying anything, so you can make sure Cue fits your workflow (and your Mac) before upgrading.

How to request a refund

All Cue purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, so refunds go through Lemon Squeezy’s standard process:

  1. Find your order. Open the order receipt email from Lemon Squeezy, or sign in to the Lemon Squeezy My Orders portal — enter the email address you used at checkout and you’ll receive a secure magic link that logs you in and shows all your orders, including the order number.
  2. Submit your request. Contact Lemon Squeezy through their Help Center with your order number and the email address used at checkout, and ask for a refund on your Cue Pro order.
  3. Get your money back. Requests made within the 14-day window are approved — the refund is issued through Lemon Squeezy, normally within 2 business days of the request.

How refunds are processed

Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy back to your original payment method, including any VAT/GST or sales tax collected on the order. Once issued, it can take up to 10 days for the funds to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer. Note that Lemon Squeezy does not process refund requests made more than 60 days after the transaction.

When a refund is issued, your license key is deactivated and Cue on your Mac returns to the free plan — your local data (notes, transcripts, settings) stays on your machine and is unaffected.

After the 14-day window

Requests made more than 14 days after purchase are not covered by this guarantee, but reach out through the same Lemon Squeezy process anyway — if something is broken on our end (for example, a defect that prevents Cue from working on a supported macOS version and that we can’t fix in a reasonable time), we’ll make it right. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your country.

Fair use

We reserve the right to decline refunds in cases of abuse, such as repeated purchase-and-refund cycles or license keys that have been shared or resold in breach of our Terms of Service.
